Process and Applications
For the frontside of the album I wrote some text on a lined piece of paper, ripped it in half and then photographed it. The photos were adjusted in photoshop to blend into the background they were placed onto. The background was created with a black fill and old leather overlays that originated from pictures I took of one of my old belts.
For the font I chose Chalkduster, I wanted a font that would represent the dark undertones of his music along with a rough and rugged texture to match it. I made Juice Wrld’s name red not only to stand out but also to represent passion and love/heartbreak that inspires most of his music.
The backside of the album has a track list and beside it is a corner ripped off of the same piece of paper from the front appearing to be taped onto the backside of the album.
When designing the t-shirt my goal was to let the artwork of the album shine on its own, I felt it was unnecessary to force in extra design elements that would otherwise take away from the album artwork.
These advertisements are meant to incapsulate the powerful imagery of juice Wrld himself in an effort to help fans connect more with our product. Both were created using photoshop.
